Drones hit chemical components production facility in Smolensk region of Russia

On the night of Wednesday, February 23, as a result of a drone attack in the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation, the Dorogobuzh chemical plant caught fire.

This is reported by Russian media.

The Mash Telegram channel noted that three rescuers died while extinguishing a fire at the factory, and four more were hospitalized with injuries.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the use of Ukrainian drones in the Smolensk region.

They also stated that in total, Russian air defense allegedly “intercepted and destroyed” 69 drones, 14 of them over the territory of the Smolensk region.

Local residents report that classes have been canceled in all schools in the city of Dorohobuzh.

As a reminder, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, as well as logistics facilities and a communications hub of the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories.

As reported, the authorities of the Udmurt Republic confirmed a night attack on the region . According to official data, 11 people were injured.
