Drones hit oil depots in Tambov and Voronezh: tanks are on fire

On the night of December 3, fires broke out again at fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia. Two regions at once – Tambov and Voronezh – reported the consequences of a drone attack, which resulted in oil depots catching fire and damaging fuel tanks.

This is reported by Russian media.

Tambov Region Governor Yevgeny Pervishov said the flames started after debris from a downed drone fell onto the territory of a local oil depot. He said rescuers and security forces were immediately dispatched to the scene, who allegedly took the situation under control.

A drone attack was also recorded in the Voronezh region. The head of the region, Alexander Gusev, said that Russian air defenses “detected and destroyed” four drones over the city and surrounding areas overnight. Debris from one of them fell on fuel tanks, causing mechanical damage. Authorities say there was no threat of fire and no injuries.

The Russian Defense Ministry traditionally reported on a “massive attack”

The Russian Defense Ministry reported the alleged interception of 102 Ukrainian drones over several regions at once. According to their version, the air defense shot down:

26 — over the Belgorod region

22 — over Bryansk

21 — over Kursk

16 — above Rostovskaya

7 — above Astrakhanskaya

6 — above Saratovskaya

4 — over Voronezhskaya

At the same time, it is precisely in the regions where “everything was shot down” that oil depots continue to burn and damage to fuel infrastructure is being recorded.

Recall that on the night of December 2 , new drone strikes were recorded in two regions of Russia, which caused fires and explosions at fuel and energy and industrial infrastructure facilities.

As reported, on the night of December 2 , Ukrainian drones struck the location of the Akhmat regiment in the Chechen city of Gudermes.
