Drones hit Voronezh region: power lines damaged, villages without power

A power line in Russia’s Voronezh region was damaged after a nighttime drone attack, temporarily leaving several settlements in the south of the region without electricity.

This was announced by the Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev.

According to him, Russian air defenses allegedly destroyed 64 drones over nine districts and two urban districts of the region. Gusev said that there were no preliminary casualties.

“Due to falling debris in the south of the region, a power line was damaged, and several villages are temporarily without power supply,” the governor said.

At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 311 Ukrainian drones were allegedly destroyed over Russian territory overnight.
