On the night of November 2, drones attacked the Samara region of Russia. The Samara linear production and dispatching station, one of the largest oil transportation hubs in Europe, was probably hit again.
This was reported by the monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+.
According to preliminary data, drones attacked a facility near the village of Prosvet. Reports of a fire and smoke in the area of the station appeared online. There is no official confirmation of damage yet.
The Samara oil and gas terminal is part of the system of the Russian company Transneft-Privolga. The station receives, stores, and transports oil from Tatarstan, Western Siberia, and other regions of Russia.
The facility also blends oil with different sulfur contents to form the Urals export grade. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enterprise is involved in meeting the needs of the Russian army.
Recall that on October 2, the Defense Forces had already struck the Samara LVDS . At that time, explosions and a fire were recorded on the territory of the facility.
Later, on October 7, the General Staff reported that 14 oil tanks had been damaged as a result of the previous strike. Pipelines and an automated oil product loading station were also damaged.
