Drones Redefine the Battlefield: Ukraine Falls Behind

Much has recently been written about Ukrainian drones and operators being sent to the Middle East. Public outrage is growing: as attack drones strike our cities, many believe those same pilots and interception systems are needed here, not abroad.

I will allow myself to go against the mainstream and express my own opinion on this. I consider the attempt to obtain political dividends for the Ukrainian experience of conducting combat operations justified.

In general, the great misfortune of our statehood, which has been lost for many years, is the lack of traditions and personnel machinery of state administration, which is available in Great Britain, the USA, and even Russia. Because of this, we are often not subjects of world politics, but objects.

Therefore, becoming a player and trying to exchange our combat experience and technology for political influence on the course of our war is wise and deserves approval.

True, there is, unfortunately, one BUT.

This BUT is that we want to exchange our combat experience for influence, BUT, unfortunately, we don’t succeed.

Several weeks have passed since the start of the war against Iran. The countries of the Middle East are adapting, rearming, and concluding contracts, but NOT with Ukrainians. We are still STATISTICS in this celebration of economic, military, and political opportunities.

Moreover, our activity has irritated the old Putin rooster, and the old man is shouting that he doesn’t want help from Zelensky.

Right now, no one knows what the stakes are in this auction and whether it is justified to ban Ukrainian manufacturers from exporting drones for the Iran War. So I won’t speculate and wring my hands that we screwed up something here, because it’s still not clear what’s at stake and whether we screwed up or not.

I know one thing for sure: time is running out, and we’ll either make a deal in the next few days, or we’ll just suck our paws off with our drones because someone smarter than us has appeared.

Sorry, it’s not a betrayal or a victory, and the quick endorphins are unlikely to rip your brain apart like after TikTok or propagandists.

But I am gathering people in my subscribers who want to see deeper than the obvious, so I am glad that you are reading, thinking, and drawing conclusions. We are still a young political nation and we have a lot to learn, read, and listen to. I hope I am helping a little with this.
