Drones massively attacked Wildberries refineries and warehouses in Russia: fires in three regions

On the night of July 31, drones attacked several facilities in Russia. The targets included an oil refinery in Volgograd, as well as logistics complexes of the Wildberries marketplace in the Volgograd region and Tatarstan. Fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.

According to analysts, in Volgograd, drones hit the Wildberries logistics center with an area of about 44 thousand square meters, which provides work for the Volgograd, Astrakhan and neighboring regions. The Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery, one of the largest refineries in Russia, was also attacked. Large-scale fires broke out at both facilities after the strikes.

Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov confirmed the drone attack.

“Fires were recorded at an industrial enterprise of the fuel and energy complex in the south of Volgograd, as well as in warehouses in the Dzerzhinsky district,” he said.

At the same time, the head of the region did not specify which enterprises were hit.

In addition, a wave of explosions swept across the territory of Tatarstan. According to Astra, the Wildberries logistics complex in the Zelenodolsk district was hit for the second time in a week. After the attack, thick smoke was recorded above the warehouse. The previous time this facility was attacked was on July 23.

There are also reports of a series of explosions in Nizhny Kamsk. After them, local residents released footage of a flare burning heavily at one of the oil refineries in the industrial zone, where the TANEKO and TAIF-NK refineries are located. There is currently no official confirmation that these enterprises have been damaged.

According to military journalist Andriy Tsaplienko, the port of Kaspiysk in Dagestan was also among the targets of the night drone attack. Russian authorities did not report on the possible consequences of the strike.

As a reminder, on July 29, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a long-range special operation and struck the infrastructure of the Lukoil-Permnaftoorgsintez oil refinery in Perm, Russia . The enterprise is located more than 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and is among the largest refineries in Russia.

According to OSINT analysts, the attack targeted a large sorting center of the Wildberries company, where a large fire broke out after the explosions . Russian authorities confirmed the attack and reported one casualty.

In addition, in the Russian city of Sarapul (Udmurt Republic) on the night of July 30 , drones attacked the Wildberries logistics complex . After the strike, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility. This is the second attack on the company’s warehouses in one night, after the strike on the logistics center in Penza.
