On the night of December 2, new drone strikes were recorded in two regions of Russia, causing fires and explosions at fuel and energy and industrial infrastructure facilities.

This is reported by Russian media.

In the Oryol region, according to local authorities, fuel and energy complex facilities caught fire in the Livensky district. Governor Andriy Klychkov said that the fire was the result of a UAV attack. According to him, there are no victims, and the Emergencies Ministry units are working on the territory, trying to localize the fire centers and eliminate the consequences of the incident.

A few hours later, reports of a massive drone attack came from Krasnodar Krai. Residents of Tuapse reported a group of drones flying overhead and a series of loud explosions in various areas of the city and its outskirts. Social media also reported flashes in the sky that resembled the work of Russian air defense systems.

Official Russian structures have not commented on the incident as of this morning and have not released data on possible casualties or damage. At the same time, sources in local channels write that the oil refinery and the port of Tuapse, key facilities in the region related to the export and processing of petroleum products, could have been hit.

During 2025, these facilities have repeatedly become the target of drone attacks, which has significantly affected their work and the logistical capabilities of the region.

As a reminder, on the night of November 27 , explosions were heard on the territory of the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region.

As reported, on the night of November 26 , an attack by unknown drones was recorded in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation. A local defense plant was likely attacked again.
