On the night of March 8, drones struck the Armavir linear production and control station in the Krasnodar region of Russia .

The Krasnodar Territory Operational Headquarters reported this.

Videos of the moment the station was hit, as well as the fire that broke out at the facility as a result of the attack, have been circulated online.

The Cybermuk OSINT project notes that the Armavir Line Transmission Station is a hub for oil product pipeline logistics. At the station, fuel is pumped through a main pipeline, stored in a tank farm, and shipped by rail.

It is noted that damage to such a node could disrupt the operation of a section of the pipeline, reduce pumping volumes, create a shortage in the storage buffer, and stop rail loading, which is used to distribute fuel further across the regions.

“The LPDS is essentially one link in the energy chain, so damage to it impacts not just a single facility, but the entire petroleum product transportation system in that area,” the OSINT project added.

It was previously reported that on March 2 , drones attacked the city of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar region , resulting in a fire at an oil terminal.

As a reminder, the Defense Forces have already attacked the Sheskharis terminal . A massive fire broke out there in November 2025.
