DTEK equipment caught fire in Dnipropetrovsk region due to a Russian drone attack

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, on the night of September 28, a Russian FPV drone hit one of DTEK’s energy facilities in the frontline area. The impact caused the equipment to catch fire, but the fire was quickly extinguished.

Earlier, several drone strikes damaged an administrative building and a company car at a DTEK site. The company said it was continuing to work despite the danger.

Over the weekend, the enemy also attacked power lines and other energy facilities. Due to the fighting, more than 25 settlements were left without electricity completely, and another 7 were left partially. Power engineers managed to quickly restore power to homes. These settlements have now been restored.

In addition, the DTEK Dnipro Electric Networks unit was attacked in the frontline area. Several drone strikes damaged an administrative building and a company car. No personnel were injured.

Despite the constant danger, power engineers continue to work and restore power to the region’s residents as quickly as possible after enemy strikes.

Last week alone, DTEK Dnipro Electric Networks specialists restored power supply to almost 110,000 families left without electricity as a result of Russian attacks.

By the way, on Monday, September 28, Russian occupiers struck a business center in Dnipro . Currently, three people are known to have died and 12 were injured.
