The fuel crisis in the temporarily occupied territories threatens safety at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.

This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.

As noted, the Russians, amid fuel shortages and chaos in logistics, cannot ensure the operation of the cooling systems of the ZNPP, which run on diesel generators.

Instead, the depletion of diesel reserves would likely lead to a cooling shutdown, overheating of reactors, and a meltdown of nuclear fuel.

“Instead of security guarantees, the Kremlin is blackmailing the world with a nuclear catastrophe, using the station as a military base and a tool of pressure. Responsibility for the risk of a nuclear catastrophe lies with the Russian Federation, which has violated all international norms,” the Center emphasized.

As previously reported, the fuel crisis in Russia is gaining momentum . Gasoline prices are rising in several regions at once, and some gas stations are still experiencing supply disruptions.

We remind you that in temporarily occupied Sevastopol, new restrictions on the sale of gasoline were introduced due to a fuel shortage .

At the same time, it recently became known that all brands of gasoline have disappeared from gas stations in temporarily occupied Crimea .
