Due to Russian strikes, power outage schedules are in effect in the regions, and emergency power outages are in effect in the Kharkiv region.
On Wednesday, March 4, power outage schedules were introduced in several regions of Ukraine due to the consequences of Russian attacks on the power grid.
NEC Ukrenergo reported this.
The enemy continues to attack energy infrastructure. As of this morning, some consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions remained without power.
Due to the consequences of previous massive attacks, some regions are now implementing power limitation schedules for industry, as well as hourly outages for all categories of consumers.
Emergency power outages have been implemented in the Kharkiv region. Previously published hourly power outage schedules in the region are temporarily suspended. A return to the scheduled schedule is possible once the power grid situation stabilizes.
At the same time, electricity consumption is declining. As of 9:30 a.m. on March 4, it was 8.2% lower than at the same time the previous day. This was due to sunny weather in most regions, which increased the efficiency of residential solar power systems and reduced the load on the grid.
On March 3, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening – it was equal to the maximum level of March 2.
