Due to the threat of shelling, Ukrzaliznytsia limited train traffic in Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, and Sumy regions on February 3. In some directions, passengers are transported by buses.

This is reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

The Lozova – Barvinkove – Kramatorsk section remains a high-risk zone. Train traffic is limited in this direction, passengers are offered a bus detour with organized connections. Due to power supply problems, train No. 6159/6160 Zolochiv – Kharkiv-Passenger is delayed for more than an hour and temporarily runs on a changed route: Zolochiv – Shpakivka – Nova Bavaria – Kharkiv-Passenger.

In Zaporizhia region, enhanced monitoring of the security situation continues. As of February 3, bus transfers have been organized between Dnipro and Zaporizhia. Passengers heading to Synelnyky or Zaporizhia are recommended to follow the instructions of the train crew and station employees upon arriving at Dnipro. Those departing from Zaporizhia or Synelnyky are advised to follow the messages in the application and announcements at the stations.

Despite the shelling of Konotop, train traffic in the Sumy region continues. Monitoring groups are working in an intensified mode. In the event of a direct threat of the use of UAVs, forced stops near shelters are possible. Ukrzaliznytsia urged passengers to closely monitor updates and enable push notifications in the application.

It was previously reported that Ukrzaliznytsia temporarily canceled a number of trains in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

We will remind you that four people died as a result of the Russian army’s attack on a passenger train on the Chop – Kharkiv – Barvinkove route.
