Durov is proud that telegrams have become a tool for organizing protests in France.

Telegram founder Pavel Durov said he was proud that his messenger had become “an instrument of protests in France against Macron’s policies.” He was referring to the organization of the Bloquons tout (“Block Everything”) movement, which allegedly appeared spontaneously on social networks.

This was noted by the spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Andrei Yusov, who published a screenshot of Durov’s corresponding message on X.

“ A confession is definitely not freedom of speech. It is an instrument of terrorism, chaos and Putin’s special services,” Yusov wrote.

He noted that Ukraine is “late in making decisions that are important for its security,” referring to the ban on the telegram in the country.

It should be noted that France has found itself at the epicenter of a new political crisis . On the day that President Emmanuel Macron appointed Sebastien Lecornu as the new prime minister, the country was engulfed in mass protests by the “Block Everything” movement.
