Dynamo told whether Lobanovskyi Stadium was damaged during the Russian attack

A message has been spread online about alleged damage to the Dynamo Valeriy Lobanovskyi Stadium in Kyiv as a result of a drone attack.
The president of the Dynamo football club, Igor Surkis, denied this information. According to him, the explosion occurred near the stadium, but the sports arena itself was not damaged.
“No, the Dynamo stadium was not damaged, it landed nearby,” Surkis said.
Earlier, the Kyiv City Military Administration announced damage to a sports complex building in the Pechersk district. However, the KMVA did not specify which facility this was.
Later, videos from the stadium were published online, showing that the arena was not damaged.
In particular, the Valery Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium is located in the historic center of Kyiv and has the status of a monument of architecture and history of local importance.
It was previously reported that in Kyiv, as a result of an attack by Russian troops, a direct hit by a Shahed rocket was allegedly recorded on the Valery Lobanovskyi Stadium. This information was later denied.
Additionally, on the night of Thursday, August 27, Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine with missiles and strike drones. Explosions were heard, in particular, in Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, and Odessa.
