A severe magnetic storm hit Earth on Friday, April 3. Geomagnetic activity reached 5.7 on the planetary K-index, which corresponds to the red danger level.
This is evidenced by Meteoagent data.
Such storms can affect people’s well-being: causing headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and sleep disturbances. The elderly and those suffering from cardiovascular diseases are especially susceptible.
Experts advise:
avoid heavy physical exertion;
monitor blood pressure and well-being;
get more rest and drink water;
If you feel unwell, consult a doctor.
Magnetic storms are caused by solar activity – bursts of energy from the sun that interact with the Earth’s magnetic field. Similar events occur several times a year, but the red level is one of the strongest.
