Easter live: where and when to watch the broadcasts

On Sunday, April 12, Eastern Rite believers and Greek Catholics in Ukraine will celebrate Easter and will be able to join the festive services online.

Due to the curfew in most regions of Ukraine and security risks, believers are recommended to choose online broadcasts as an alternative to visiting churches.

On April 11-12, the Suspilne Kultura TV channel will broadcast solemn services from the main churches of Kyiv.

The Divine Liturgy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine from St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Cathedral will begin on April 11 at 11:00 p.m. The service will be led by Metropolitan Epiphany, and the broadcast will last until approximately 3:40 a.m.

The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church’s divine service from the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ will be available to watch on April 12 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The service will be led by the head of the UGCC, Sviatoslav.
The broadcast is available on the YouTube channel Live Television .
