On the night of August 18, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with other Defense Forces units, struck the Russian Nikolskoye oil pumping station in the Tambov region.

This was reported to the General Staff.

According to the agency, the strike caused a fire at the facility, and oil pumping through the Druzhba main pipeline was completely halted.

It was noted that the affected station is part of Russia’s economic infrastructure and is also involved in supplying the occupation army.

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces are consistently working to reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation to completely halt its armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff emphasized.

As a reminder, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó accused Ukraine of an “attack” on an oil pipeline in Russia , which stopped oil supplies to his country. He did not name the facility, but he is likely referring to the Druzhba pipeline.
