On the night of March 23, Russian army aircraft carried out a massive strike on Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region, dropping eight aerial bombs on the city.

This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk region’s State Emergency Service.

The Russians attacked several districts of Druzhkivka at once. Two people were injured as a result of the shelling of the city.

Rescuers provided first aid to the injured, evacuated them, and transferred them to doctors.

Previously, the airstrikes resulted in damage to infrastructure. In particular, 4 high-rise buildings, a store, utility companies, and 2 vehicles were damaged.

A fire broke out in an administrative building and a garage in an industrial zone. The State Emergency Service employees managed to contain the fire to a total area of 360 sq. m.

“However, due to the threat of repeated shelling, the units were forced to temporarily suspend work and return to their deployment site in order to save the lives of the personnel,” the rescuers explained.

Recall, on the night of March 23, Russian troops launched 251 drones over Ukraine , of which 234 were destroyed or suppressed by air defense forces.
