Electric transport will be partially restored in Kyiv: list of routes

On Thursday, February 26, the capital will begin to gradually resume the movement of urban electric transport.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.

As noted in the Kyiv administration, the relevant measures are related to improving the situation in the power system and increasing the power supply limits of the Kyivpastrans enterprise.

Starting tomorrow, electric transport will start operating on the right bank of the capital. In particular, we are talking about

• trolleybuses No. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9K, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22-K, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 32, 33, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40, 40-K, 41, 42, 44, 45;
• trams No. 1, 2, 3, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19.

In addition, buses No. 11-D, 35-K, 39, 75, 77, 79, 90-K, 120 will resume operation. Previously, they duplicated the routes of electric transport on the right bank.

Separately, the Kyiv City State Administration said that the movement of electric vehicles plying on the left bank or connecting the two banks will be restored later, after further improvement of the state of the power system and provided that there is no new damage to the infrastructure.

“To transport passengers on the left bank, the operation of certain bus routes will be temporarily increased, in particular those that partially duplicate electric transport. Thus, the rolling stock that was used to duplicate electric transport routes on the right bank will be transferred to the routes on the left bank,” the administration explained.
