Electricity tariffs for residential consumers will remain unchanged throughout the 2026/27 heating season. Current prices will also remain in effect for households using electric heating.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmygal.
According to him, the decision was made based on a recommendation from the Ministry of Energy. Extending the mechanism for assigning special duties (PSO) will allow current tariffs for households to be maintained.
Thus, household consumers will continue to pay 4.32 UAH per kWh.
At the same time, the preferential tariff of UAH 2.64 per kWh will remain in effect. It will apply to homes with electric heating, as well as to homes without gas or centralized heating.
“This decision is an important component of supporting people during the war,” Shmigal noted.
