On Monday, June 29, Ukrainian tennis players started at the prestigious Wimbledon tournament. Today, June 30, the second and most massive day of play for our athletes takes place. In particular, the first and second rackets of Ukraine — Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk — will take to the court.
The first round of Wimbledon 2026 will feature a Ukrainian tennis derby, in which Elina Svitolina (WTA No. 8) will play against Daria Snigur (WTA No. 77). The match will start no earlier than 5:45 p.m. Kyiv time.
Elina Svitolina is the undisputed favorite among bookmakers and experts. Bets on her victory are accepted at low odds of around 1.36.
The odds for Daria’s victory are approximately 3.50 . However, Daria Snigur has a chance to impose a fight on the first racket of Ukraine.
