Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina (WTA No. 7) will open her campaign at the French Open (Roland Garros) on Monday, May 25, facing Hungary’s Anna Bondár (WTA No. 58) in the first round.
The match is expected to start no earlier than 14:00 Kyiv time.
Ukraine’s number one tennis player, Elina Svitolina, who recently won the prestigious 1,000-dollar tournament in Rome, expressed hope that she could also win a Grand Slam tournament, which includes the French Open. Already in the round of 16, Svitolina faced a difficult opponent in Anna Bondar, to whom she had won and lost twice.
