Ukraine’s number one tennis player, Elina Svitolina (WTA 10), will play world number two Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals of the prestigious WTA 1000 clay court tournament in Rome on May 13.
The fight will take place no earlier than 20:00 Kyiv time.
Svitolina and Rybakina are longtime rivals. Elina has played Rybakina seven times, winning three and losing four. Their most recent match, on March 14 of this year in the Indian Wells 1000m semifinals, ended in a straight-sets defeat for the Ukrainian, 5-7, 4-6.
The Svitolina-Rybakina match will be broadcast live on Setanta Sports Premium or Setanta Sports.
