The arrival of elite units of Russian FSB special forces and marines has been recorded in the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol in the Donetsk region.
This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petr Andryushchenko.
“We’re recording the deployment of elite FSB special forces units and marines to Mariupol. This is the second time this fall. The first was in September. Then, before moving on, the marines were struck at their permanent deployment point in Urzuv, at the Kvant expansion base,” he noted.
According to Andryushchenko, a new group of occupiers has been identified on the territory of the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, where they arrived from Crimea.
“Judging by their behavior, they were sent for replenishment and approval. They’ll be at the front soon,” the head of the Central Military District added.
