Charles III has announced the sale of a red Sikorsky with Queen Elizabeth’s interior. The monarch will also buy two eco-friendly jets.

The sale of the helicopter could bring the royal family £5 million.

The helicopter is officially described as “the aircraft of the head of state” with one owner since the beginning of its operation. During its service, it has completed 5,222 hours of flight.

The royal family currently uses two eco-friendly AgustaWestland AW139s, which cost £8.5 million each.

These helicopters use 50% clean aviation fuel.

Earlier it became known that Kate Middleton and Prince William, together with their children, are planning to move out of Adelaide Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle, where they have lived for the past three years . The couple is currently considering a more spacious and luxurious residence.
