Elon Musk Could Become World’s First Trillionaire

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who tops the list of the world’s richest people, could become the first trillionaire if the company’s board approves a massive new pay package for the executive.
The document provides for Musk to receive an additional 423.7 million Tesla shares if the company’s market value grows significantly. Tesla is currently valued at $1.1 trillion. If its capitalization reaches $8.5 trillion, the value of the shares Musk will receive will be about $1 trillion.
The businessman currently owns 410 million Tesla shares. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, his fortune is estimated at $386 billion.
