Elon Musk has announced the imminent launch of Grokipedia, a new online encyclopedia powered by artificial intelligence. The first beta version of the platform will be available in two weeks. Grokipedia is set to become a more accurate and reliable source of knowledge than Wikipedia, thanks to its integration with xAI’s Grok language model.

Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI founder Elon Musk has announced the launch of an ambitious new project, Grokipedia, an online encyclopedia. Its goal is to create a global database of authoritative knowledge that will surpass Wikipedia in accuracy and objectivity.
Musk said that the first test version of Grokipedia 0.1 will be available in two weeks. The platform will use Grok’s artificial intelligence to verify and improve information.
According to the developers, Grokipedia will be able to analyze huge amounts of data from various sources, including Wikipedia.
Grok’s algorithms will assess the reliability of facts, rewrite and supplement articles if the original material contains inaccuracies or gaps. This way, the system will focus on publishing verified information, forming, in Musk’s words, “a true source of knowledge” for humans and artificial intelligence.
Journalists suggest that Grokipedia may partly resemble the Community Notes feature on the X social network, which allows users to flag questionable statements and add clarifications.
The platform is expected to be open not only to users but also to neural networks, which will allow for the creation of a universal reference tool within the AI ecosystem. The real capabilities of Grokipedia will become clear in the coming weeks after launch.
