Emergency and hourly outage schedules have been implemented in Ukraine: how do they work?
On Monday, October 27, emergency and hourly power outage schedules began to be implemented in some regions.

In particular, it is noted that at the command of Ukrenergo, consumption was limited for residents of the capital, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
DTEK added that in the event of changes, the company will provide additional information.
In addition, according to Ukrenergo , there are also power outages in the Sumy and Zaporizhia regions due to Russian strikes.
Currently, energy workers are working to restore stable power supply to consumers, and emergency restoration work is ongoing in all regions where there is damage.
Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of previous Russian shelling, hourly outage schedules of 1 to 2.5 shifts are being applied in a number of regions. They will be canceled after the situation stabilizes.
Also, the time of application of capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers, which in certain regions will be in effect from 07:00 to 19:00.
“Given the consequences of Russian shelling and weather conditions, today there is still a need for economical consumption of electricity. If you have electricity now, please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances until 10:00 p.m.,” Ukrenergo emphasized.
