As of Friday morning, February 6, consumers in Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Kirovohrad regions were without power.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov.
Thus, due to the bad weather, 109 settlements in Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Khmelnytskyi regions remain without electricity.
According to him, emergency and restoration work is underway at energy facilities. All possible measures are also being taken to ensure stable operation of the power system. Regional energy companies are working around the clock to restore damaged lines.
“Due to the difficult situation in the power system, emergency power outages have been forced in some regions. After the situation stabilizes, consumers will return to the predicted hourly schedules,” the post says.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Energy held a regular meeting of the Headquarters for the Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations in Kyiv and the region. The situation remains most difficult in the area powered by CHP-4.
By the way, the Netherlands will transfer transformers of various capacities to Ukraine and provide financial assistance in the amount of 23 million euros to support the energy sector.
