Emergency power outages in Kyiv

Emergency power outages were introduced in Kyiv on Monday, December 12. The city’s infrastructure is unable to cope with the load.

This was announced by the director of YASNO company, Serhiy Kovalenko.

“The whole of Kyiv is in an emergency. Unfortunately, the infrastructure cannot withstand the load,” the report says.

In addition, DTEK also confirmed the introduction of emergency shutdowns for the capital.

“At the command of Ukrenergo, emergency shutdowns have been applied throughout the city. We remind you that during emergency shutdowns, schedules do not apply,” DTEK noted.

We would like to remind you that as of the morning of January 12, consumers in seven regions were without power due to Russian shelling, and 260 settlements were completely or partially without power due to bad weather.
