Emergency power outages introduced in Kyiv and two regions

Emergency power supply restrictions have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine. Emergency power outages are in effect in Kyiv, Kyiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region.

DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Grids reported on the application of such measures.

According to energy experts, the decision was made after receiving a corresponding instruction from NPC Ukrenergo.

It is noted that emergency shutdowns are carried out without adhering to hourly schedules, as they are introduced in emergency situations and implemented promptly depending on the state of the power system.

DTEK later clarified that the regime of emergency power supply restrictions has also been extended to the Dnipropetrovsk region.

As reported, enemy drones have been spotted in the airspace of the Kyiv region, in connection with which air defense units are conducting combat operations.
