Emergency power outages introduced in several regions of Ukraine

On Wednesday, October 22, emergency power outages were implemented in Kyiv, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the energy company DTEK. According to them, such measures are being taken on the instructions of NPC Ukrenergo due to the situation in the energy system.
The company emphasized that if circumstances change, they will promptly inform citizens about updated schedules or resumption of supply.
Later, it became known about another attack on energy infrastructure. On the night of October 22, Russian troops again struck one of DTEK’s energy facilities in the Odessa region.
According to the company, specialists quickly reconnected critical infrastructure and the residential sector to backup sources where possible, restoring power to 14,200 households.
However, the damage remains significant, and it will take time for the facility to fully restore operations.
Recall, on the night of October 22 and in the morning , the enemy carried out a combined strike on Kyiv – two people were killed . Rescuers are currently eliminating the consequences of the night attack on the capital.
As previously reported, hourly power outages are in effect in the Chernihiv region due to Russian shelling, and critical infrastructure has been switched to backup power.
