Enemy attack on Roshen train: the company issued a statement

Our team was only able to breathe a sigh of relief by morning, when it became clear that during the latest attack on the logistics center, all workers had taken cover and there were no casualties.

At the same time, our largest warehouse with finished products was almost completely destroyed.

First of all, we would like to thank the firefighters and the entire State Emergency Service team who are working to overcome the consequences.

We are also incredibly grateful to all Ukrainians for the support we have received during these difficult times. It is invaluable to us! It inspires us to work even harder to ensure the country continues to produce high-quality goods during this time of war.

We’re now switching to a 24/7 operation. Despite all the losses, we’ve made a fundamental decision: prices for our products will not increase. They will remain stable and affordable.

Our company is the most recognizable Ukrainian brand in the world. During the full-scale invasion, the Roshen team alone paid over 21.6 billion hryvnias in taxes to the national budget, because we believe in Ukraine above all else.

And we are proud of the resilience, dignity and will to win of every Ukrainian.

Let’s stand together.

Ukraine’s fifth president, Petro Poroshenko, responded to the massive Russian shelling of Ukraine, declaring that Russia is attacking civilian infrastructure and attempting to break Ukrainians. He emphasized that the attacks are aimed at exerting psychological and economic pressure on society.

It was previously reported that a fire broke out in the warehouse of the Roshen factory in the city of Yagotin in the Kyiv region following a nighttime attack by Russian drones.

As a reminder, on the night of February 7, Russian troops launched attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, specifically substations, overhead power lines, and the Burshtyn and Dobrotvir thermal power plants.
