Energy company employee was passing data to the enemy: he was detained

Law enforcement officers have detained an employee of Ukrenergo NPC suspected of treason. The man was passing secret information to a representative of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

This is reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the investigation, the suspect sent official materials, including the coordinates of a hidden and protected energy center, through one of the encrypted messengers.

This information could have been used by the Russian military to plan strikes on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure, including missile or drone attacks.

The suspect’s actions were qualified under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – high treason committed under martial law.

He is currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing.

As a reminder, another traitor who helped Russian troops attack Zaporizhia was sentenced in Ukraine. A Russian military intelligence agent was sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason.

As reported,the Security Service of Ukraine has exposed a Russian agent within the Armed Forces of Ukraine . This is a serviceman mobilized to a strike drone company who was passing information to the FSB about the preparation of operations by the Defense Forces.
