The head of the Kupyansk city military administration, Andriy Besedin, reported that the situation in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, remains critical. Entry into the city is now only allowed to military personnel, while civilian services and transportation are prohibited.

He said this in a comment to ” Social “.

Besedin explained that the lives of local residents are under constant threat. Evacuation is extremely difficult: it is only possible to leave on foot outside the borders of Kupyansk, where people are met by volunteers, the State Emergency Service, and the police. You can also turn to the military for help.

The city is effectively left without basic living conditions. Kupyansk has no electricity, water, or gas supply, and social services are not functioning.

As of September 28, about 680 people remain in the right-bank part of the city, and more than 1,600 civilians remain within the entire community.

In addition to the humanitarian crisis, a counter-sabotage operation is underway in the city. According to Besedin, special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are “passing every centimeter of Kupyansk” to prevent the enemy from entrenching themselves. The authorities are calling on residents to urgently leave the dangerous territory.

By the way, on September 25, the head of the Kupyansk MVA, Andriy Besedin, reported on a critical situation: in addition to the infiltration of sabotage groups, the enemy is launching massive shelling on the city.

Recall that the Russians have developed a logistical route through a gas pipe , with the help of which they overcome Oskil and enter Kupyansk.

It is worth noting that fierce fighting continues in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast , in particular, on the right bank of the city, Ukrainian forces are knocking out saboteurs who were trying to penetrate the city through gas pipes.
