Epicenter logistics center attacked near Kyiv: fire breaks out

On the morning of Tuesday, September 16, a hit was recorded near Kyiv at the Epicenter logistics center as a result of an attack by Russian drones.
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Russian troops carried out another attack with kamikaze drones on the territory of Kyiv region. The strike caused a fire in warehouses.
According to the report, the attack was the second overnight — the occupiers struck again in the region using strike drones.
“As a result of the hit, a fire broke out in the warehouses of the logistics center. Rescuers are working on the scene,” the OVA said in an official statement.
According to the OVA, at night, air defense forces worked on enemy drones in the sky over the region. Some of the targets were destroyed, which prevented damage to critical infrastructure. It is known that there were no casualties among the civilian population.
Despite the work of air defense, the consequences of the strikes were recorded in the Fastiv district. Enemy drones hit civilian objects: a fire broke out in the territory of a shopping center, in particular, cars caught fire.
“While extinguishing the fire, the enemy struck again. Two fire engines of the State Emergency Service were damaged. The personnel were not injured,” the administration reported.
It is known that the morning attack damaged:
4 private houses,
warehouse of a logistics facility,
14 trucks and 9 cars.
Work is ongoing at the scene to eliminate the consequences and document the enemy attack.
As a reminder, on the night of September 16 , Russian troops launched a massive strike on Zaporizhia . According to preliminary estimates, the occupiers fired at least ten shells at the city, resulting in significant destruction and casualties among the civilian population.
