Epiphany in Kyiv: where it is allowed to immerse in water today

Today, January 6, Ukraine celebrates Epiphany, and believers traditionally immerse themselves in water, following a long-standing ritual.

This is reported by the publication Big Kyiv.

The report notes that due to martial law, residents of the capital are asked to refrain from visiting natural beaches. At the same time, specially equipped locations have been prepared in Kyiv for those who have decided to adhere to the tradition of swimming.

These places are open until 5:00 p.m. They have convenient access to the water and changing cabins. Rescuers, lifeguards, and medics are on duty during swimming.
