“Europe is putting spokes in the wheels”: the Kremlin made a new statement on the process of resolving the war in Ukraine

The Kremlin stated that Europe is obstructing the diplomatic process of resolving the war, allegedly inciting Ukraine to continue hostilities.
This was stated by the spokesman for the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
“Europeans are putting spokes in the wheels. Europeans are indulging the Kyiv regime in every way,” he stressed, adding that the EU is encouraging Ukraine to continue the war.
According to him, this approach differs from the approaches of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and American President Donald Trump.
In addition, Peskov accused the Ukrainian side of unwillingness to resolve the war unleashed by Russia through political and diplomatic means.
“But until we see reciprocity from Kyiv, we are continuing the special military operation,” he concluded.
Earlier, during an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council held on August 29, the United States once again threatened Russia with sanctions if the Kremlin did not move towards a peaceful settlement.
As you know, Trump recently stated that it will become clear within the next two weeks whether peace can be achieved in Ukraine . If this does not happen, he warned of the possibility of finding “another approach” to resolving the war.
By the way, Trump said that the Russian dictator’s reluctance to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would have “serious consequences” for Russia.
