Europe on the brink of a new war: France has issued an alarming forecast

France does not rule out the possibility of a major armed conflict in Europe within the next decade. This scenario is outlined in a new strategic security and defense doctrine, published under the title “National Strategic Review – 2025”.

This is stated in a document prepared by the General Secretariat for Defense and National Security of France.

The report states that there is a high probability of a large-scale military conflict in Europe by 2030. French analysts emphasize that although hostilities may unfold outside the territory of France, the country does not rule out its participation in such a conflict.

One of the main threats is the Russian Federation, which is estimated to be increasing the capabilities of its defense industry, which could significantly increase the level of military danger in the coming years.

The document directly points to the risks of aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Moldova, the Balkan countries, or NATO members within 3–5 years. This forecast is accompanied by a call for strengthening the defense strategy of France and its Alliance partners.

Recall that the largest port in Europe , Rotterdam, is preparing for a possible NATO war with Russia, reserving places for ships with military cargo in the event of a conflict.

As reported, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Russia could attack the alliance within the next 5 years.

In addition, Germany stated that the state must be prepared for aggression from Russia within the next four years.
