European leaders had a phone conversation with Trump: discussed the status of the settlement of the war in Ukraine

On December 10, European leaders and the British Prime Minister had a telephone conversation with the American president, during which they discussed the process of a peaceful settlement of the war in Ukraine.
This was announced by German government spokesman Stefan Cornelius.
In particular, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz called British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and American leader Donald Trump.
The heads of the four states discussed the status of the ceasefire negotiations in Ukraine over the phone.
As Cornelius noted, intensive work on the peace plan will continue in the near future.
“They agreed that this is a crucial moment for Ukraine and for shared security in the Euro-Atlantic region,” the report said.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the creation of a new working group to support Ukraine . The countries will deal with security guarantees.
As a reminder, on December 8, President Volodymyr Zelensky traveled to London for talks with the leaders of Great Britain, France, and Germany — a meeting that is already being called one of the most important for shaping Ukraine’s future security architecture.
