European Solidarity Statement: Time to dismiss the corrupt government
The European Solidarity faction stated that Ukraine is facing a real political collapse caused by corruption in the highest echelons of power. Following the meeting of the parliamentary anti-corruption committee, the deputies emphasized: the criminal group associated with “Minditchgate” not only embezzled billions from energy, fortifications and defense – it penetrated ministries, security structures and the executive branch .
This was reported by the press service of “European Solidarity”.
The statement says that the group controlled the appointment of officials, managed individual departments and formed its own vertical of influence. The scale of this activity was evidenced by 527 dossiers on deputies, journalists, ministers and employees of the SBU and NABU – in particular those who criticized the authorities or tried to counteract the schemes.
According to the faction, the current Cabinet of Ministers “turned into a tool” of a corruption group and completely destroyed the system of public administration. The head of the State Financial Monitoring Service, Philip Pronin, received particularly harsh criticism, whom the deputies accused of sabotaging the data provided to the NABU, involvement in abuses at fortifications, and participation in illegal sanctions against Petro Poroshenko.
The EU stressed that the first step in overcoming the political crisis should be the immediate resignation of the government , which has lost trust and professional capacity.
The faction has already initiated a collection of signatures for the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers and thanked the deputies of Holos, part of Servant of the People, Batkivshchyna, and other groups for their support. The EU also called on Yulia Tymoshenko and her entire faction to join the joint initiative.
The deputies appealed to the monomajority with a demand to make a choice: “either Ukraine and the Army – or the “Mindichi” with their schemes.” According to the faction, for the first time in many years, the country has a chance to restore the real subjectivity of the parliament , restore the work of the Constitution, and return the state to the parliamentary-presidential model, rather than leadership “from the office.”
The statement also emphasized that society should receive information about peace talks from the President of Ukraine, and not from foreign TV channels, which are already publishing contradictory data about supposedly ready-made agreements. “Details decide everything – and it is in them that danger often lurks,” the EU emphasized.
The faction concluded: Ukraine has no right to miss the chance to clean up the government and regain the trust of the people. The Prime Minister must resign. It is time to return the Constitution from the archives.
As previously reported, European Solidarity stated that the “28 points” published in the media look like a Russian trap. The party demands answers as to who from Ukraine tried to agree on this and whether they had the right to do so.
