“Eurosolidarity” initiates a meeting of the Conciliation Council with the President amid the worsening security situation

“European Solidarity” initiated a meeting of the Conciliation Council of the Verkhovna Rada with the President of Ukraine to discuss the most important issue for every Ukrainian today – the strategy for achieving peace.

This was reported by the press service of Eurosolidarity .

Against the backdrop of the worsening security situation, increased Russian air terror against civilians and civilian infrastructure, rapid deterioration of relations with the United States, and growing financial and security challenges, Ukraine needs a clear, realistic, and publicly understandable strategy for achieving peace.

“Its basis should be a comprehensive ceasefire – on land, in the air and at sea – with proper security guarantees and mechanisms for monitoring compliance with agreements. We are convinced that in matters of war and peace, a responsible dialogue between all branches of government, a common position and consolidation of efforts are necessary,” the statement noted.

“European Solidarity” has its own developments and specific proposals, which it is ready to present and discuss with the President in the most constructive format.

“Our goal is to develop common approaches that will allow Ukraine to speak with one voice with international partners, strengthen its negotiating positions, and bring a just and sustainable peace closer. The peace and security of Ukraine is an issue in which shared responsibility must be higher than political differences,” the party’s statement emphasizes.
