Eurosolidarity recalled local council deputies who fled abroad and lost contact with the party
At the congress of the European Solidarity party, a decision was made to recall ten deputies of local councils who, during the full-scale war, lost contact with the party, did not fulfill their deputy duties, or systematically missed meetings of councils and commissions.
This was reported by the European Solidarity party.
In particular, due to the termination of membership in the European Solidarity faction, a decision was made to recall the deputy of the Odessa District Council Ruslan Syrotyuk, the deputy of the Bilogorodsk Village Council of the Buchansky District Yulia Ocheretnyuk, and the deputy of the Netishyn City Council Svitlana Abramiv.
The party also recalled three deputies of the Kherson Regional Council – Natalia Tarasova, Valery Saltykov, and Viktor Pungin.
A separate decision was made regarding Poltava City Council deputy Andriy Karpov. The reason was that he missed more than half of the meetings of the city council’s standing commission during the year. According to the territorial party organization, the deputy is abroad.
The Poltava organization of “European Solidarity” emphasized that deputies must constantly work with voters and fulfill their duties to communities, especially in conditions of full-scale war.
“It is important for us that our deputies work for the community and with people on a permanent basis in these difficult conditions of a full-scale war. Those deputies who do not work with voters, are abroad, have lost touch with the community, cannot be in local government bodies, which today have a lot of responsibility for minimizing the consequences of the war, cannot represent our political force. This is especially responsible for our defenders, and this is a requirement of those of our party members who are in the defense forces,” the party organization noted.
In addition, due to missing more than half of the council’s plenary sessions and standing committee meetings during the year, a decision was made to recall Andriy Kalashnyk, a deputy of the Podilskyi district council in Poltava.
The congress made a similar decision regarding deputies of the Nedryhaylivka settlement council of Romensky district, Sumy region, Ivan Nanka and Leonid Moshi. According to the party, they missed more than half of the plenary sessions and meetings of the standing committee during the year, and also failed to fulfill their obligation to report to voters.
