Exclusion from military service based on age will become automatic: how will it work?

Резерв+

Conscripts and reservists will be automatically excluded from military registration upon reaching the reserve age limit. To do this, it is no longer necessary to personally contact the CCC and the Joint Service – the corresponding changes in the “Oberig” register will occur automatically.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Such a mechanism would also allow the CCC and the SP to avoid manually processing cases related to reaching the age limit. This should reduce the routine workload and free up resources for other tasks.

Who will be automatically excluded from the register?

The age limit for being in the reserve is determined by military rank. For most conscripts and reservists, it is 60 years old, and for those with higher officer ranks, it is 65 years old.

The senior officer ranks include brigadier general, major general, lieutenant general, and general. Naval ranks include commodore, rear admiral, vice admiral, and admiral.

How the system will work

The “Oberig” registry will automatically check the data of conscripts and reservists every day, including date of birth and military rank.

If a person has reached the age of 60 or 65, depending on their rank, and the necessary data is in the registry, they will be automatically removed from military registration.

At the same time, any deferrals or reservations that were in effect at that time are also automatically canceled, since after being removed from military service, they are no longer needed.

How to check your status in “Reserve+”

After the status changes, the “Reserve+” application will send a corresponding notification. The user needs to update their military registration document, after which the “Reserve ID” status should appear as “Disabled”.

If a person has already turned 60, and for senior officers – 65, but the status in the application remains “On record”, you must first re-authorize in “Reserve+” and update your military registration document.

If this does not help, you need to contact the CCC and the Joint Service. They will check the correctness of the data on the date of birth and military rank in the “Oberig” register, since automatic exclusion depends on them.

Are military registration violations being canceled?

The fact of automatic exclusion due to age does not cancel violations of military registration rules that were recorded earlier. If the violation occurred before reaching the age limit, it must be resolved separately.

Some fines can be paid online through “Reserve+”. To do this, you need to open the “Online Fines” section, submit an application for recognition of the violation, wait for the decision of the CCC and the SP, and then pay the fine.

If multiple violations are detected, each of them must be resolved separately.

In cases where online settlement is not available, you will have to contact the CCC and the SP. In particular, only through the CCC and the SP can you resolve the issue of non-arrival according to a mobilization order.

If the CCC and SP have already sent an appeal to the National Police due to a violation of military registration rules, it will remain valid even after the person is automatically excluded from military registration. The violation itself will also need to be resolved separately.

It was previously reported thatteachers and other teaching staff of secondary education institutions can now apply for a deferment from mobilization directly through the “Reserve+” application . The system automatically checks the necessary data.
