Explosion in Poland caught on camera: Tusk makes a loud statement

Poland has said that the object that fell in the Lublin province on the morning of July 30 during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine could have been a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile. The final conclusion will be made after the wreckage is examined. A video has also appeared on the Internet, which allegedly captures the moment of impact – the explosion was so powerful that the surveillance camera shuddered.

This was reported by Polish media, citing statements by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.

According to Donald Tusk, preliminary data indicates that it was a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile that fell near the settlement of Tarnawa-Kolonia.

“We were ready to shoot down the missile if it continued its flight,” the Polish Prime Minister said.

At the same time, he emphasized that it will be possible to finally determine the type of object only after the examination of the debris is completed.

According to the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, an unknown air target was detected at around 03:40. An F-16 fighter jet was scrambled to intercept it, but within a few minutes the object disappeared from radar.

Later, a crash site with a crater and debris was discovered near Tarnava-Kolonia. According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the incident.

The incident occurred during a large-scale combined Russian attack on Ukraine on the night of July 30, when Kyiv, Lviv and other regions of the country were hit. Poland put air defense forces and combat aircraft on alert due to the threat of airspace violations.
