Explosions Reported Near Shahed Drone Production Facility in Tatarstan

On Sunday, June 15, a wave of drone attacks targeted Russia, including a strike on the city of Yelabuga, home to a facility involved in the production of Shahed drones.
According to Russian Telegram channels, residents reported hearing a roar, followed by black smoke rising into the sky.
The Yelabuga facility, where Shahed drones are believed to be produced, was likely targeted by the drone strike. Reports on social media claim that one of the UAVs was allegedly shot down near the site.
Additionally, another drone was reportedly destroyed in a nearby village. However, no official confirmation has been provided at this time.
Earlier, a “drone danger” alert had been declared in the region, causing intermittent internet outages in certain areas.
Recall that on the night of Tuesday, June 10, drones in Tatarstan again attacked the city of Yelabuga , where the production of drones, in particular the Shahed type, is located.
