On the night of Saturday, August 2, in the Russian Volgograd region, explosions caused the “Central Asia – Center” gas pipeline to fail.

This was reported by Ukrinform, citing sources.

It is noted that after reports of explosions on the gas pipeline, emergency services went to the scene.

Local residents said that law enforcement officers and repair crews are working near the settlement of Dynamovske in the Volgograd region to eliminate the consequences.

It is known that the gas pipeline supplied energy to a number of facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex. Employees of the gas transportation company are calculating the damage caused.

Currently, gas transportation in the Volgograd region has been stopped.

The pipeline in question reportedly belongs to Russia’s Gazprom and was used to transport gas from Turkmenistan through the territory of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation.

As a reminder, on the night of July 5 , a main gas pipeline, important for the Russian occupation army, exploded in the Vladivostok region of Russia.

Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate conducted a special operation, as a result of which a section of a large gas pipeline was destroyed in the city of Langepas, Tyumen Region of the Russian Federation .
