On the night of Wednesday, May 27, explosions were heard again in Russia. Several facilities in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region were attacked at once. Large-scale fires broke out after the drone strikes, and footage of thick smoke and fire was posted on social media.
According to OSINT channels, drones attacked an oil depot in the Krasnodar Territory. The released videos show a large fire engulfing the facility. The regional authorities have not yet officially commented on the incident, and Krasnodar Territory Governor Veniamin Kondratyev did not report the attack.
At the same time, explosions were also heard that night in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast. According to the ASTRA Telegram channel, smoke rose above the territory of the 325th Aviation Repair Plant after the drone attack.
Journalists analyzed eyewitness videos and concluded that the alleged strike occurred precisely on the territory of a company that repairs aircraft for the Russian army. After the start of a full-scale war against Ukraine, the plant is under sanctions by the EU, the US, and Ukraine.
Also located near the site of the alleged strike is the 352nd Aircraft Plant. There is currently no information on the extent of damage or casualties.
It is worth noting that Tuapse and other cities in the Krasnodar Territory have repeatedly become targets of drone attacks due to the fuel and military infrastructure facilities located there, which are used to supply the Russian army.
As a reminder, on the night of May 1 , the Russian city of Tuapse was again attacked by drones . Local residents reported explosions around midnight.
