Explosions near the TPP and the Gvardiyske airfield: drones attacked temporarily occupied Crimea

On the night of Tuesday, April 14, a series of explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. Several cities on the peninsula came under attack at once.

This is reported by local residents.

The loudest was in Simferopol, Feodosia and Kerch. People reported hearing loud explosions first, after which Russian military personnel began firing machine guns at the drones. The shooting was recorded in various areas of Simferopol, as well as near the city.

The situation was particularly tense in the area of the Tavria TPP. According to eyewitnesses, at least two strong explosions were heard there. There was also unrest near the Gvardiyske airfield. There, military infrastructure could probably have been hit.

Local residents also report the work of Russian air defense. In particular, they are talking about the Pantsir complexes. Explosions were heard even over the sea – on the southern coast of Crimea.

In addition to the peninsula, there was also a lot of noise in the temporarily occupied Melitopol of the Zaporizhia region. There, after the explosions, the power went out in part of the city.

It has been previously reported that energy and military infrastructure facilities, including an oil depot near Hvardiyske, may have been attacked. There is currently no official information about the consequences.

Recall that on the night of April 6 , units of Ukrainian troops launched a series of strikes on important Russian targets.

As reported, on the night of Thursday, April 2, the Forces of Unmanned Systems, together with the GUR of the Ministry of Defense, struck Russian targets in temporarily occupied Crimea.
