Explosions rocked Adygea: Russians announced attack on military airfield

On the night of December 29, explosions were heard in the Russian city of Maykop, and the Khanskaya military airfield was likely under attack.

This was announced by the Astra Telegram channel.

In particular, residents of the capital of the Republic of Adygea reported explosions. Later, footage emerged of Russian air defenses operating near the airfield.

However, there is currently no confirmation of the destruction of a military facility.

At the same time, the head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, commented on the attack. According to him, air defense forces allegedly intercepted 17 drones over the territory of the republic.

It is worth noting that “Khanskaya” is an airfield of the Russian Defense Ministry, where a training aviation unit is located – 272nd Air Base. The facility is located 3 km from the village of Khanskaya and 6 km from Maykop.

The day before, drones attacked the Russian city of Syzran . The strike could have hit an oil refinery and electrical substations.

Earlier, residents of Volgograd reported a series of loud explosions . According to preliminary information, the local oil refinery “Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka” was again hit.
